Mittry Lake Wildlife Area, Yuma, AZ

You can get to Mittry Lake from the north turning at the Imperial Dam turnoff and coming down a 5 miles dirt road, or from the south, north of Yuma, with only about a mile of dirt road.  See my December 10, 2018 blog post here, where I explained our north route and pictures through the Proving Grounds. Now, after being parked on Laguna Dam Road, we only had a short jaunt to the main camping areas/picnic area/garbage/restroom/boat launch.  We parked on the gravel area. It had rained and some of the areas near the water were still muddy.

We had 3 bar Verizon LTE, able to get 6 English speaking TV channels (many Spanish ones)

You can click on any of the pictures to enlarge them in a new window.
