Dancing Eagle Casino RV Park, Paraje, New Mexico

Dancing Eagle Casino RV Park is right off Hwy 40 west of Albuquerque, NM. Besides the RV park, there is a casino, marketplace (grocery and hardware), and truck stop. The diesel price at the truck stop was $3.15, which was really good. We paid $3.25 at Flying J by Albuquerque. There is a Post Office next door. The RV park is right beside the casino, which has a dining room and event center, the Marketplace/Ace Hardware is on the other side of the park, and across the highway is the Travel Center and Dairy Queen.

The RV park has 34 sites, 5 pull-through. They have 20/30/50 amp, water and sewer hookups. The cost is $10 + tax ($11.38). Verizon cell service. There is wifi there, but we were never able to stay connected. We got 55 TV channels with our antenna. There is a laundry room in the office, available during office hours. There is a pet park. They also sell propane.  We had site #35, which is probably the longest of the pull throughs and we didn’t need to unhook our Jeep.

I found the Dancing Eagle Casino RV Park on the RV Parky phone app.  It showed $10 a night for full hookups and that sounded pretty good.  Some of the comments suggested reservations, which we never do, so I called to see if we needed them. They have five pull-throughs and they fill faster than the back-in sites and only two weren’t reserved, so we did. We were there two nights and the pull-through sites were full, but a lot of openings in the back-in sites. We would have stayed longer, but a cold front was coming with snow predicted; so further south we go!
