Three rooms painted this past weekend, a load to the garbage, a load to House of Manna, a few more things sold. Just might make it yet. Registered for the rally in Texas. Got a new address today, so will have to update paperwork for that.

Man - going to my dresser to get something - that's gone. Go to the computer room to find something on my desk - that's gone. I've got an Aflac bill around here someplace...

This house is almost empty.

Well, the moving truck was here Tuesday. What a day! It was packed very well in the truck. It's amazing how they can get up to the ceiling with some of those pieces. There's no way we could have done that by ourself in a  U-Haul - we would have taken up twice the amount of space. From there the truck has 2 more stops in North Dakota, 1 in South Dakota and then on to Virginia. My, how you see what needs to really be fixed or painted once the furniture is gone!

Had a farewell supper last week with some of my friends I had worked with for years. I missed visiting with them, but not missing the job. :)  Then Sunday took baked goods to a breakfast and bake sale that we used to help with  all of the time. That felt really weird not staying there to help. Yesterday Curt was going through tools to keep, sell, give away...I think it was really hard for him. He would have liked to have kept them. We'll see more of what has to go once the moving truck comes next Tuesday. Dean and Valerie - you might have some interesting boxes...

Just the 2 of us now - our youngest moved out this morning, moving out east. Safe travels! Luv u- Mom

What a beautiful weekend to work outside! Cleaning out the garage and under the patio, the yard, the storage unit. Our dump trailer is getting pretty full!

Have an offer on the house; we'll see next week if it works out. We have a great housing market to sell, but so many people can't get financing...or they're not preapproved and then you have to wait for that.

We're shooting for the RV-Dreams rally in Kerrville, Texas in April - time is going by fast!

If you ever have to apply for new health insurance, make sure you do it long before the day you are wanting it to start, because it has been taking forever to get done!

So many appointments...insurance, financial, legal, accounting, dental. That was just last week, one every day. This week we have more insurance, showing the rental house and who knows what else (besides daily working).  Oh, and I forgot E-Bay. Curt listed over 100 items in the past 2 weeks (due to some free listings). Not everything sold, but still tomorrow will be a full day of packing and shipping. A few more things gone.

So much to do - and so little time!

2012 - A year of change

2012 - This will be a year of change for us! Currently in the process of selling or giving away almost everything we own so we can be on the road in our RV full time, planning for April 2012. Now, hopefully sales, including the house, will cooperate.

Is this an easy decision? Definitely not - it's taken a lot of research and reading and sleepless nights! As we get under 100 days away it is more exciting, and more scary. There are so many  unknowns.
