We didn’t pay for the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum (can do a virtual tour on line), but we did walk around the buildings, to the Glascock’s Landing to see the Mark Twain Riverboat (which was closed), and climbed the 244 steps up to the Mark Twain Memorial Lighthouse. (For those of you not wanting to climb 244 steps, you can drive most of the way up. We found this out once we got there.) We also went to the Hannibal History Museum to learn more about the town and area.
These are just a few of the pictures taken that day. For more of Hannibal and Mark Twain, please click here.
