Hubinger Landing, Keokuk, IA

Hubinger Landing is a City campground in Keokuk, Iowa. It is bordered on one side by the Mississippi River and the other side by train tracks. There was only one way in/out that we saw, and it is across the railroad tracks, which are kind of steep and bumpy.

You can click on any of the pictures to enlarge them.

We got to see a couple of barges go by. There were a few trains, but not really a lot of noise.

There is 20/30/50 amp electrical, some water spigots, no dump station. No restrooms. No spots can be reserved. Payment is made at the Southside Boat Club which is next door. They don’t open until 3:00 PM during the week. Price is $16/night, $14 for seniors. I think the sites are suppose to be back-in, but since there was no one else there, we parked parallel. We weren't able to get TV channels.  Verizon cell service 2 bar.
