Things noticed from the Cities up to Grand Forks: leaves are changing color (meaning we should be going south instead of north!), road construction, lakes (we’re in Minnesota after all), lots of roadside attractions (like really large fish, blue ox, fishing bobbers), harvest in full swing.
We stopped at Milica Unclaimed Freight. It wasn’t really what we expected, I guess; more like a discount store, with furniture.
We stopped in Crookston at a Sugar Beet Museum, which we thought would be interesting since we’re going to be harvesting beets, but it was closed. There’s a veteran’s memorial nearby.
