Follow Us In Our Travels

4/30/12: Well, after a week at the rally, we had to stay one more day to wait for our mail coming UPS. We got the washing machine going Sunday, so  I washed a few loads. It doesn't dry it real well; we hung most of the things up in the RV, which made for some humidity.  I put the last load in shortly before we went to bed.  When I got up, I was going to take the clothes out of the washer and it was still full of water. For some reason it didn't drain and spin.  We ended up having to use the shop vac to get the water out and wring out the clothes, and then I went to the laundry room to finish drying them while Curt worked on the machine. The mail came while I was finishing up there; so went back the RV to pay bills on-line. Finished packing up (and no, the washer didn't get fixed), went to Kerrville to find their post office and bank. Since it was getting later, we decided to stop in Boerne instead of going on to San Antonio and find a campground in the dark. Met a couple in a motorhome from Minnesota in the Walmart parking lot on their way back home from Arizona for the winter.
