05/17 – 05/21/14:  Ohio, Longaberger Basket building, Grand Lakes St. Marys State Park:

We didn't see an Ohio border sign, so this is the first notice we had, Bridgeport, OH, after crossing the Ohio River.

 It's 192 ft long x 126 ft wide at the bottom, spreading to 208 ft long x 142 ft wide at the roofline.

And we got a rock chip in our windshield that isn't even a year old.

Lots of horses.

They've had a lot of rain.

 

Guess they just park the old RV instead of trading it in?

 

There were a couple of tiny cemeteries in fields or pastures.

 Grand Lake St. Marys State Park

Not many people there this early in the season and during the week. We got a choice site near the water. This State park is a Passport America park, accepts Passport Sunday - Wednesday for $12.50 with 50 amp electric, water and a dump. This is site 194.
