After leaving Lewis & Clark State Park, we stopped in Dickinson for a while to spend some time with my dad. He was turning 94 and had moved from an assisted living facility to a nursing home after being hospitalized for a couple of days. We didn’t have a big party, but a brother and sister from Washington came to celebrate with him, and a few friends and family from town stopped in.

While in Dickinson we stayed at North Park Campground again and a night at a friend's farm.

We're heading on to the Grand Forks area for potato and sugar beet harvest. Hopefully the weather cooperates.
