10/18/13: We decided to stop at Rabbit Valley Recreation Area,  a free BLM area 2 miles from the Colorado/Utah border. We drove around the area with the jeep and did some caching. Some of the places that had campers parked, I can’t imagine driving to. The roads are pretty rough. There are a lot of bicycles and dirt bikes. We would have stayed here longer, but had reservations in Moab. We don’t like making reservations, but the two Passport America parks both said we needed reservations as they were very busy now with people at the national parks.

 We drove around with the jeep to see what there was in the area, and also did some geocaching.

 We parked right off the main road since we were only going to be overnight
