Minnesota Family Time

After sugar beet harvest we headed to our daughter’s place in a suburb of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Our granddaughters are ages 10 and 7 and were both in school, but they did get two days off for the teachers convention. Their school is only a couple of blocks away from their house, so I walked them to school in the morning and back home after school. We played games, baked, read books, etc. They had swimming lessons, got to decorate a pumpkin, trick or treating at church.

We had planned on staying until Halloween weekend, but with a snow and cold weather forecast, we decided to take off a couple of days early. The girls did get to make a snowman.
