Lewis and Clark State Park – week 2

The second weekend wasn’t as full as the first, but we kept busy.

This weekend was Safe Day – Safe Play & National Trails Day. Friday evening Trooper Dan Hanson from the North Dakota State Patrol was here with a presentation. Saturday evening Border Patrol Agent Schipferling had a presentation with his night vision equipment.

Saturday was National Trail Days and Juliet lead us on a trail hike and we learned more about Lewis and Clark’s travels. For Sunday’s Dakota Explorers, Juliet had a maze made that we went through and then the kids did a painting project of the Lewis and Clark sign.
