3 Dreamers RV Park, Salome, AZ

3 Dreamers RV Park is off highway 60, approximately 20 miles from Bouse and 20 miles east of Quartzsite. They are a Passport America participating campground, $16 + tax for Passport America rate ($32 without discount), plus 20 cents per kwh for electricity. I don’t think we’ve ever been charged metered electric for an overnight stay before. You pay a $5 deposit when you check in, and then they check your meter before you leave to see if you get a refund or have to pay more. We received a $2.00 refund. (We thought it was interesting at their cost. When we were at a different campground for two nights, we kept track of their meter, just to see what we would use. It would have only cost us 92 cents for two days and we basically did the same things; washed clothes, baked, cooked, etc.)

They have 30/50 amp with water and sewer hookups, with reverse osmosis well water. Free internet and satellite cable TV. The internet worked well Thursday afternoon and evening, not so good Friday morning. We didn’t connect to cable TV and got the same channels over the air that we had at Bouse (Arizona 3, news and weather). Their clubhouse had burnt down, so they were in the process of converting a mobile home into their clubhouse. It was noisy (highway and ATVs), low water pressure, manure smell from nearby dairy ranch. For the price it’s okay for an overnight or two. There sites are large and we didn't have to unhook our tow.
